A new report from the Congressional Budget Office estimates that income taxes may soon make up half of all federal tax income. Currently, it makes up about 47 percent of federal tax revenues, though by 2024 it is thought that this number will jump to 51.8. Conversely, corporate taxes make up about 34 percent of federal revenues right now, but in that same period of time it's thought that this will shrink to about 31 percent.
