The U.S. Senate has come to a deal that would re-open the government and raise the debt ceiling as the legislature races the clock to avoid the first default in the country's history, according to CNN. While many of the specifics are still unknown, it is said that the deal would extend the government's borrowing authority to Feb. 7 and fund the government through Jan. 15.
