A report from the Congressional Budget Office has said that U.S. debt levels are unsustainable and, if things are not changed, the amount the country owes will grow bigger than its total economic output in about 25 years, said Reuters. While debt currently eats up about 74 percent of economic output annually, in 25 years it is projected to grow to 106 percent of total economic output, meaning that even if every single cent produced annually in the country went towards debt payment it would still not be enough.
